General Server Rules

  1. Respect for All Players

    Respect is mandatory. Disrespect, harassment, stalking (IC or OOC without consent), or forcing interactions are prohibited across all server platforms.

  2. Prohibited Content

    Any roleplay, discussion, or reference to necrophilia or pedophilia is forbidden and will result in immediate removal.

  3. Language & Behavior

    Hate speech, slurs, and offensive language toward real-world groups are not tolerated. Minimal profanity is allowed; religion and politics are prohibited.

  4. No Spamming

    Excessive, repetitive, disruptive, or unsolicited messaging is prohibited. Confirm consent before direct communication.

  5. Inactivity

    Players inactive for 14 or more days without notice may have their character data and belongings removed.

  6. Consequences

    Violations may result in suspension or permanent ban. Repeated violations receive escalating penalties.

  7. Other Servers

    Mentioning, comparing, or recruiting for other Conan Exiles servers or Discords is prohibited.

  8. Discord Access

    Most Discord channels require an approved character sheet and assigned roles.

Roleplay Guidelines

  1. In-Character Interaction

    Stay in character in public hubs and gathering areas unless marked OOC. Respect IC boundaries unless prior consent is given.

  2. Public Content

    ERP and nudity are prohibited in public areas unless specifically designated NSFW. Non-NSFW areas are SFW by default.

  3. Metagaming, God-Modding & Power-Gaming

    Do not use OOC knowledge in character, control another player’s character without consent, or force outcomes without allowing a response.

  4. Characters

    Characters must appear and behave as adults, use original lore-compatible names, and follow race-appropriate physical characteristics. Powers, ranks, and titles require approval or must be earned.

  5. Alternate Characters

    Players may have one main and two alts; supporter tiers may add approved alts. Alts cannot own public hubs and do not contribute to clan assets or follower counts.

  6. Abilities & Influence

    Characters arrive without powers, ranks, or abilities from other realms. Reality, time, space, divine control, and technology are prohibited. Leadership must be approved and earned in character.

  7. Travel Points

    Do not loiter or hold roleplay in loading areas and waypoints.

  8. Group Activities

    Auras and particle effects are prohibited during group activities.

Building Rules

  1. Clan Limits

    Clans start with 400 building pieces, 200 placeables, and a 20×20 build size. Each active member adds 200 pieces, 100 placeables, and 5×5 build size, capped at ten members. Members inactive for two or more weeks do not count.

  2. Authorization

    Admin approval is required before building at points of interest, unnamed cities, the volcano, world-boss spawns, and other key locations.

  3. Admin Structures

    Do not build within 60 foundations of admin structures, waypoints, or hubs. The admin clan is The Ember Court.

  4. Thralls & Pets

    Each player may have two combat thralls or pets. One clan dancer is permitted. Pick up crafting thralls when not in use.

  5. Resource Storage

    Only one stack per resource type may be stored in a shared clan vault and ice chest. Excess may be removed.

  6. Decorations

    Decorations and placeables must be used or removed; unused decoration storage is prohibited.

  7. Containers

    Clans may have one shared chest or vault, and each individual may have one personal chest.

Trespass & Thievery

  1. Unauthorized Entry

    Entering another clan’s base without permission is prohibited except for admins. Close doors when leaving your base.

  2. Viewing Builds

    Players may admire builds from outside but must leave immediately when asked by the owner.

  3. Theft & Consent

    Theft requires mutual consent through consent sheets and meaningful roleplay context. Random theft without purpose may result in an immediate ban.

  4. Clues

    A thief must leave at least three obvious clues to create roleplay opportunities.

Public & NSFW Content

  1. Channel Placement

    Content rated PG-13 or higher belongs only in an appropriate NSFW channel.

  2. Media Consent

    Obtain permission before sharing media featuring another player and tag everyone included.

  3. Prohibited Explicit Content

    Bestiality, excessive gore, incest, minors, pedophilia, necrophilia, knife play, rape, scat, vore, needle play, and watersports are prohibited.

  4. Age Depiction

    No sexual depiction of minors, visually underage characters, or people with childlike proportions or features. Violation permanently removes NSFW access.

  5. Access

    Users must be verified and opt in for the NSFW role. Post only in the correct category.

  6. Consent

    All NSFW interaction follows server-wide consent rules. Never pressure anyone to participate.

  7. Media Forum

    Use existing categories, clear titles, and appropriate tags. Repeated misuse may remove posting privileges.

Administration & Maintenance

  1. Admin Authority

    Admins and moderators enforce the rules and may remove violating posts, structures, or players. Cooperate with staff directions and investigations.

  2. Tickets

    Choose the correct ticket category. Incorrectly categorized tickets may be returned for resubmission.

  3. Streaming & Recording

    Admin approval and the streamer role are required to stream or record outside Discord. Every participant must consent.

  4. Cleanup Schedule

    Server-wide cleanup occurs every two weeks on Saturday.

  5. Inactive Players

    Players inactive for 14 or more days may have character data and belongings removed.

  6. Buildings & Clans

    Buildings without an associated clan are removed. Clans with no active members and their related assets are removed.

  7. Protecting Data

    Logging in resets the inactivity timer. If you will be away longer than two weeks, make arrangements and ensure at least one clan member remains active.

Character Sheets & Creation

  1. Required Template

    Use the Discord character-sheet template verbatim and complete every section. Incomplete or reformatted submissions will be returned.

  2. Personal Information

    Include discovery source, Discord DM preference, confirmation that you are 18 or older, and agreement to the rules.

  3. Character Details

    Provide name, race, gender, optional nickname, adult age, backstory, and an adult-appearing image.

  4. Consent Sheet

    Complete the in-game RpR consent sheet with Shift+R, include DM preferences and character details, and attach a screenshot.

  5. Discord Identity

    Your Discord display name must identify your character or characters. Tag Admin and Moderator when submitting.

  6. Setting Compatibility

    Characters must fit the fantasy setting. Deities, demigods, godlike powers, futuristic or overly modern concepts, famous names, and plagiarism are prohibited.

  7. Mortal Limits

    Ancient bloodlines, magic users, and powerful warriors are allowed, but not godlike immortality, invulnerability, or reality-altering power.

  8. Races

    Supported categories are Humanoid, Elven, Fey, Dwarfkin, Beastkin, Giantkin, Draconic, Elemental, Celestial, Infernal, Shapeshifter, Undying, Construct, and Aberrant.

  9. Clan Rosters & Alts

    Clan leaders must maintain the Discord clan roster. Alts require approval and do not contribute building points, decorations, clan assets, or follower counts.

  10. Equal Arrival

    Characters enter without titles, ranks, powers, privileges, or modern technology. No character may override another player’s choices without explicit consent.
